We collect your email address when you create an account. We collect the measurements you enter for your client profiles. We collect the garment photos you upload to generate patterns. If you apply to test NotchGrain, we also collect the referral source you choose and, if you provide it, what you asked ChatGPT. If you voluntarily share a tester design wishlist, we also collect your reference photos, garment interests and optional design notes. When you arrive from ChatGPT, we may record limited first-touch referral information such as the ChatGPT UTM source, campaign values, referring page and the first NotchGrain page you visited so we can understand how people discover the service.
Your email is used to send you your downloaded patterns and account notifications. Your measurements are stored to save you time on future projects. Your photos are sent to OpenAI's GPT-4o service to detect the garment style — this is how the style detection works. Photos are not stored by OpenAI after processing. ChatGPT referral attribution is used to understand which public pages and search referrals bring people to NotchGrain and to improve our public information and tester recruitment. Tester wishlist photos are kept separate from garment-photo analysis and are privately reviewed for tester selection and to prioritise construction-ready pattern-library improvements; they are not shown publicly without separate permission.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your client measurements with anyone. We do not use your data for advertising.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
Garment photos you upload are deleted within 24 hours of upload — both the original and the processed copy are removed from storage automatically. Your patterns, measurements and account details are kept until you delete them. Reference photos voluntarily shared with a tester wishlist are different: they are retained privately while we review the tester programme and plan new garment constructions. You may request that we remove your tester wishlist and its photos at any time, whether or not you have a NotchGrain account. When you delete your account we remove your account and any photos still held for you.
